Jane is a professional copywriter who specialises in writing clear, plain English. After working in industry marketing communications for 12 years, she set up a direct marketing agency.
In 1991 she became a freelance copywriter and editor. Since then she has written for a wide variety of organisations in many different industry sectors including banking and finance, IT and communications, energy and the environment, hospitality, training, business services and industrial products.
At Emphasis, Jane runs business-writing skills courses to give people the confidence they need to write more clearly and effectively.
