Lots of companies offer business writing training. Few offer Emphasis' level of experience, expertise and specialist knowledge. Emphasis is a firm of consulting trainers in business writing offering a range of business writing courses. We are different because we:

Specialist trainers in writing for business

All our trainers are experts in writing for business, with a background in industries where writing is the main focus. So they are well equipped to handle even the trickiest writing queries and offer practical editorial advice.

Naturally they all have solid written communication skills as well as excellent training abilities. Each will have gone through a rigorous training process and passed a six-stage series of tests before we'll consider them qualified to work for you. This process can take up to six months.

So we tailor all our effective writing training to your needs. We identify each individual's strengths and weaknesses to ensure the training is as productive as possible. And all the materials we provide are sector-specific: we will provide only material relevant to your company's business.

We base all our writing training on a detailed individual (and confidential) analysis of documents from each delegate, complete with a graph to show which areas you most need to improve. This allows you to work on the areas you most struggle with, so that you make big improvements quickly.

As well as training, we offer a full editing consultancy service to make all your documents as effective as possible. We can edit or audit your company’s written output. Or we can write it for you.
