Paul White

Paul has helped some of the world’s leading companies bid for their most complex opportunities, with contract values that have run from tens of millions up to hundreds of millions of pounds. His experience includes tendering for a wide range of both public-sector and private-sector opportunities.

He works with bid teams to help them to maximise evaluation marks by focusing on delivering value to the customer and by uncovering ways to outsmart the competition. He shares his methodical yet innovative approach in his consultancy work with Emphasis. One client he worked with commented that there was more sophistication in a one-hour session Paul delivered on developing a win strategy than the client typically put into a tender for more than ten billion dollars.

Paul worked as an English teacher before pursuing a career in sales. He says he thought bidding might be the perfect way to combine his love of words with his love of winning work. So far, his hunch is proving to be correct.
