Kathy Girling Learning designer

Kathy is an experienced language courseware developer, with a career that has taken her from the depths of the Paris underground to the oilfields of Iraqi Kurdistan.

She has worked on major projects with the MOD, the EU and numerous corporate clients. Like many of our trainers (and office staff), Kathy is also a qualified trainer of English as a second language.

She has momentarily come to rest in south-west France, where she is renovating an old farmhouse and learning French she never thought she’d need to know.

With Emphasis, Kathy works alongside the account management team and directly with clients to create the best solution for each organisation’s needs and goals. She has developed bespoke business-writing programmes for clients including Christian Action Housing Association, Veolia, Caseware UK and Skipton Building Society.
