Luke leads on business strategy and partnerships, ensuring Emphasis can continue to help more people at organisations worldwide to improve their writing – until all that’s left is clear communication everywhere (ideally).

Like the rest of his team, Luke is an evangelist for good written communications. He understands the ripple effect of an organisation’s writing issues – from alienated customers to hampered productivity or poor decisions from a misinformed board. That’s why he and the team take a consultative approach, listening closely to clients’ issues in order to tailor learning programmes that match their needs and create real change.

Before Emphasis, Luke spent four years teaching English in Japan, followed by several years managing accounts with an IT company and the world’s largest natural gas supplier.

And outside of work, Luke is generally found outside, as he’s happiest hiking, jogging and camping in the great British countryside.
