Marie Hayward

Marie joined us in August 2021 as a key member of our operations team.

She has an MA in Creative Writing and previously worked as a recruiter and administrator in the care sector, where she learned to ‘keep a lot of plates spinning’.

This experience serves her well in her role as an operations coordinator, where she uses her plate-spinning skills to process around 100 writing samples each week and ensure delegates have all the information they need for a successful course. And all without breaking a sweat.

Like many of her colleagues at Emphasis, Marie has a love of languages. She grew up speaking French and English at home and puts her French to use whenever possible, visiting family and soaking up the sun on the beaches of the Languedoc.
